Since then have juggled a career of teaching, painting and exploring landscape and other figurative themes in a variety of media including textiles. During the late '80s and early '90s I had several solo exhibitionds throughout Wales and in London. I exhibited regularly with a gallery in St Davids and in North Wales (Dolgellau where I then lived) and the Medici Gallery in London.
I then moved to Dorset to teach full time and concentrate on family responsibilities, but I continued to paint and exhibit locally.
In the late '90s I became a member of Poole Printmakers and re-learned many aspects of print-making.
In 2003 , by chance, I met my old lecturer from Bristol, Peter Reddick, who was one of the greatest engravers of his time.
Deeply impressed by his work and that of others in the Society of Wood Engravers, I began a passionate persuit of the skill
and I have been learning ever since.
I now live in North Dorset where I teach wood engraving and watercolour.
My work has been accepted three years in succession for the Annual Travelling Exhibition of the Society of Wood Engravers.
